“Why would you just leave her in the middle of the road like that?!” Yelled Amber in the passenger seat looking through the rear view window of a moving Jeep.
Speaking softly with a tone of someone with a headache says Aqua “What do you expect me to do, huh? Strap her to the hood and explain to everyone that we killed her?” Amber turns forward in her seat to a slouching halt; looking through the window she notices several constellations her father showed her as a child in a cold town she could not force herself to remember.
Time passes and amber awakes to Aqua holding her thigh tight while rolling through a deep river bed, Amber always thought it was ironic that he was frightened by water even with the name he has. She fell back into her slumber with a smile splitting her cheeks.
With sounds of yelps and prayers she finally awakes fully to a torched town before her and a bleeding boy beside her.
